Good to know about Plenitude (formerly Eni): Plenitude grew out of Aldro Energía y Soluciones S.L., which was renamed Eni Plenitude Iberia S.L.U. in 2022 when it was folded into Eni group's global Plenitude brand; existing Aldro customer contracts kept their original terms. This has a real, documented consequence: a public complaint shows an Aldro invoice from 2022 that was corrected and credited by the company, only for Eni Plenitude to re-demand the same payment two years later, in 2024, threatening legal action over a debt that had already been resolved under the previous brand. The company's main current tariffs (Fácil, Tendencia) carry no lock-in period according to both the company itself and independent comparison sites, so cancelling or switching supplier costs nothing. The most repeated dispute in 2025-2026 isn't about lock-in but billing errors: documented cases include a €2,699 gas bill based on incorrect meter readings followed by a supply cutoff with no prior warning, and customers billed at per-kWh rates well above what was agreed at signing, nearly doubling monthly bills. For cancellation or complaints, the usual channels are the Oficina Virtual, email to clientes@eniplenitude.es, or phone 900 37 37 63.

Frequently asked questions

How do I cancel Plenitude in Spain?

Write a formal cancellation request with your details, your customer number and the effective date, and send it to Plenitude by a means that creates proof (burofax, certified mail or the official cancellations channel). Our generator drafts the letter for you in under 2 minutes — you can download it free as a PDF.

Do I need to speak Spanish to use this?

No. You fill in the form in English; the letter itself is generated in formal Spanish — which is what Plenitude expects and what works legally in Spain. You see a live preview and can download the PDF for free.

Do I need a letter if I'm just switching supplier?

No — when you sign with a new supplier, they arrange the switch and the cancellation with the old one. The letter is mainly for terminating the supply entirely (moving out, closing premises) or cancelling the supplier's extra services.

What is a burofax and why does it matter in Spain?

A burofax is Spain's standard method for legally reliable communications — roughly the equivalent of certified mail with proof of content. It proves you sent the letter and, with acknowledgment of receipt, that it was delivered. Spanish companies take it seriously.

How much does cancelling Plenitude cost with DarmeDeBaja.es?

Generating and downloading your letter as a PDF is free, no sign-up. If you want us to send it for you as an electronic burofax with acknowledgment of receipt, it costs €4.99 per delivery — a traditional postal burofax can cost up to €36.
